I downloaded some samples from this site and I am having difficulty getting them working as advertised. I have managed to get a couple of them to add items to the user interface via the plugin.xml file and have managed to get my Java code to execute when I click on menu items but I don't seem to be able to access any of the UI classes that appear in the documentation. The QuickNote sample for example has the following statements:
And they are all flagged as an error in eclipse. I looked throughout the Lotus Notes and Eclipse directories and don't see the jface or swt jars listed above. There is a jface jar in the eclipse package but that seems to be different (not the ibm version). There is also a jfacex one in the Lotus installation but that too seems not to be what is needed. I am running Lotus Notes 8 fine so I assume these libraries are on my system somewhere so where are they and why doesn't eclipse see them? Or perhaps does the new version of Lotus not use the SWT and JFace?
Lotus Notes 8 Beta 3 (Version 8.0_M5)
Eclipse 3.3.0
Java 1.4.2
Windows XP
